- Multiple selection support: Assembly multi-selection
- File-type avoidance: Avoidance
1. PropManager supports assembly multi-selection batch processing, multi-level path batch processing, and batch processing for parts, assemblies, and weldment profiles. It also stores three custom forms for adding, deleting, and modifying properties.
2. Except for weldment profiles, PropManager writes results only to configuration-specific properties. Its targets include both custom and configuration-specific properties, so regardless of where a property originates, the final result appears only as a configuration-specific property.
3. Property values in Standard Property Mode use different execution rules. For example, Quantity applies only to the active configuration of an assembly, while DwgNo uses a serial number rather than an identical value. Different properties therefore produce different results.
The DwgNo property is the unique identifier used in the software database to distinguish files. Any duplicate DwgNo overwrites information for another component. Because users often already have many completed drawings, the software does not force conversion to a new DwgNo, but users should know that DwgNo is the primary SW-file identifier in this system. If you plan to use the part system or ProdSys, DwgNo is mandatory.
Treehouse is a built-in SW plug-in. Because it provides a preview, we store a quick-launch entry in PropManager. Note that PropWriteBack in the SWTDO Prod tools is far more reliable and efficient than Treehouse.
